Our experiential studio in Florence

Ephèmera Firenze was born in a home that deeply reflects who we are.

It is not simply a studio: it is the place where our imagination takes shape, our creative laboratory, the space where every project truly begins.

We are located in one of the quietest and most enchanting areas of Florence, just a short walk from the Four Seasons Hotel Firenze, opposite the gardens of the University of Architecture and close to the Giardino dei Semplici, the University’s historic botanical garden, founded in the sixteenth century and still today the guardian of a precious relationship between science, nature and beauty. It is a setting that speaks of research, contemplation, culture and breath.

We chose this place for precisely that reason: because we felt the need for a home that would not be neutral, but alive. A place able to welcome thought, silence, listening and intuition. A place where light could truly enter, where the memory of Florence could enter into dialogue with the present, and where every client could feel welcomed not into a display space, but into a creative home.

Our home is set within a historic Florentine palazzo, with frescoed ceilings that still preserve the decorative rhythm, elegance and theatricality of a way of living from another time. For us, the frescoes, with their ornamental motifs, medallions, floral references and painted frames, are not a backdrop: they are a presence. They speak of layers, continuity and a beauty that does not rush. And they remind us that to create something authentic always means entering into dialogue with what came before us.

Here, everything speaks of us

The light moving through the rooms.

The rugs, carrying with them the sense of materiality and lived memory.

The bookcases, the objects, the flowers, the essences, the details chosen one by one.

The interiors are an interplay of antique and contemporary, of memory and vision, of intimacy and design. Nothing is merely decorative: each element helps create an atmosphere of listening, elegance and possibility.

We like to think of this space as a threshold

People enter to create a scent identity, to imagine a fragrance for the skin, to shape the olfactory breath of a home, to give form to a sensory journey for an event or a place. But they also enter to pause, to feel, to bring into focus something about themselves or their brand that had not yet found its voice.

For us, everything begins here

In this home-laboratory filled with light, art and silence. In this space where Florence enters through the windows, where the nature of the nearby gardens continues, ideally, within the rooms, and where every project can find its own breath.
