Milano Home 2024’s project, “The Green Circle” personally curated by architect Isabella Goldmann, represents an innovative initiative that transcends the traditional concepts of design and architecture. The focus is on 60 products that are still relatively unknown, each with a story of great attention to quality, crafted with care, durability, resilience, affection, respect, and ingenuity. Carefully selected by architect Goldmann, these products not only embody aesthetics but also narrate stories of research and passion, promoting a sustainable approach to living.

For the first time, architect Goldmann incorporates a significant and powerful sensory element into her projects: smell. One of the most potent senses compared to others, capable of creating harmony and well-being, and especially of transporting us back in time through our olfactory memories. The olfactory logo of RareMood and the “The Green Circle” project is unveiled for the first time at Milan Home 2024, in the dedicated sustainability area. A tailored olfactory work, designed to express the values of both projects, envelops visitors in a multisensory experience that will leave a lasting impression in their olfactory memory.

Isabella Goldmann: Architect of Sustainable Frontiers

Isabella Goldmann, a prominent figure in bioarchitecture and an influential leader in sustainability, has left an indelible mark through her bestseller, “A Bio Architect as a Friend.” Her approach, rooted in bioarchitecture, blends beauty with attention to chemical, physical, and ergonomic aspects to create serene and sustainable homes. With her decade-long commitment to the field, Goldmann is an authoritative guide toward new visions of living, where the home becomes a refuge of well-being and sustainability.

“The Green Circle” and the 60 Unique Products

The “The Green Circle” project is a celebration of 60 carefully selected products for their extraordinary quality and unique use. Each object tells a story of research, passion, and commitment to producing beautiful, intelligent, and useful goods. These products not only stand out for their excellence but also have the power to evoke emotions, create memories, and transmit wonder. The project aims to revolutionize how we perceive and purchase home goods, promoting sustainability and conscious consumption.

Female Contribution and Social Commitment in the Project

A significant aspect of the project is its commitment to women. Isabella Goldmann, an advocate for the role of women in architecture and sustainability, highlights the value of women in promoting sustainable innovation and the search for ecological solutions for a better future. The project not only challenges conventions in design and architecture but also commits to supporting ethical and social principles.

The Green Circle” at Milano Home: a Unique Experience

During Milano Home, a prominent event scheduled from January 11 to 14, 2024, at Fieramilano Rho, Isabella Goldmann continues the “The Green Circle” project. This initiative offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore and evaluate the quality of home consumer goods, promoting greater awareness of sustainability and the importance of an ethical approach to purchases.

RareMood’s Olfactory Logo and “The Green Circle”

The fragrance created for RareMood and, consequently, for “The Green Circle” space is a non-intrusive ambient perfume that delicately generates a sensory atmosphere, elevating the emotional comfort state and connecting with the most emotional part of individuals inhabiting or visiting a space.

This fragrance conveys a sense of harmony and contributes to building the concept of beauty for the soul, fundamental aspects in projects realized by the Goldman & Partners Studio.

It’s not just about decorating the environment with a fragrance but also about communicating messages, one’s story and identity, the values that underlie the professional history of architect Isabella Goldman and, at the same time, “The Green Circle” project.

The olfactory logo contains both synthetic and natural scent notes, with high biodegradability, low aquatic toxicity, environmental sustainability, ethical and circularity, and compliance with current cosmetic regulations. Natural olfactory notes consist of natural essential oils. For this olfactory branding project, two special producers were selected. Firstly, an Italian company, a historic company that has been producing essential oils in Calabria for six generations, a member of the UNION FOR ETHICAL BIOTRADE, with control over raw material productions respectful of people and biodiversity. The cultivations are biodynamic, in full respect of the territory and with extreme attention to waste. Finally, a leading French company in the cultivation and purchase of sustainable raw materials, with great attention to social sustainability. Essential oils and absolutes marketed are subject to careful selection of suppliers, ensuring adherence to important rules of good civil living, such as the prohibition of child labor, the use of pesticides, cultivation policy, etc. The company seeks to use products that are mindful of farmers’ production costs to ensure them fair and just compensation. Additionally, for some products, the company owns its own cultivations, meticulously and completely controlling the production process and costs.

Fragrance Manifesto: A Celebration of Nature and Elegance

In creating the olfactory logo, we were guided by a fundamental principle in the world of bioarchitecture and sustainable innovation: bringing nature into the home, whether in the form of sunlight, air, color, or greenery. We also included wood, representing the ultimate sustainable and biocompatible material. Notes evoking the significant female contribution and the role of women in the fields of architecture and sustainability could not be omitted. Finally, we added a touch of sprightly happiness that arises when creating a healthy, beautiful, and harmonious home or space. Three proposals that speak of nature and simplicity, with an elegant, discreet background and a light persistence.

The Olfactory Notes

The fragrance opens with a sense of joy, happiness, and vitality thanks to the sunny and carefree notes of lemon, combined with the notes of Calabria’s green gold, bergamot, one of the most spectacular and versatile ingredients in the natural palette. Also known as rose berries, pink peppercorns lend a bright, sharp, and cyprus-like touch to the composition, creating a common thread that intertwines with rose water, also known as Venus water, obtained from the processing of precious damask rose petals. The “sun” that radiates and illuminates the composition is represented by the yellow, fleshy, and highly fragrant flowers of Cananga. In the heart notes, you can’t escape the scent of lemon flowers, one of the most intense and vibrant fragrances. Ethereal, ancestral, elusive, capable of evoking images, memories, and dormant sensations. The fragrance is further enriched by the presence of iris flowers, a key ingredient in many classic fragrances throughout history, capable of imparting a sense of refinement and elegance typical of Italian savoir-faire. In the base notes, the sweetness of vanilla joins the soft, balsamic, and profound scent of one of the most majestic and legendary woods, cedarwood, a symbol of spirituality and immortality. The olfactory composition is completed with the presence of patchouli green leaves, evoking the imagery of lush tropical nature and providing a final, enveloping sensation.

In conclusion, Isabella Goldmann’s “The Green Circle” presents itself as a revolutionary project that not only celebrates the sustainability and quality of products but adds a unique sensory experience through the RareMood olfactory logo. A fusion of elegance, nature, and social commitment, transforming living into a complete and conscious experience.
